Support Pediatric Brain Tumor Research

About Us....

Brown Bag For A Cure
®.  (BBFAC) was founded January 1, 2008 by Kathy Straughn. In June, we welcomed Gina Goodman, as part of our TEAM.

BBFAC was built on a simple premise. Supporters can easily raise critical funds by asking  friends, family, co-workers, etc. to brown bag their lunch and donate what they would have spent on lunch out.

The inspiration for Brown Bag For A Cure® are the children from  across America who live each day with a brain tumor, the children we have yet to meet and sadly to the ones no longer with us.

For the first seven months of 2008, BBFAC raised money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity, making a donation of $27,338 on July 26, 2008.

Now that we have achieved the criteria, we are ready to establish BBFAC as a 501(c)(3) charity. Our status is pending, so donations may be made directly to Brown Bag For A Cure®.

Our Board of Directors will be announced in the coming weeks.

The name Brown Bag For A Cure® is a registered trademark.

As part of the collaboration, UnlockingBrainTumors.org made a $10,000 donation on July 12, 2008. The donation contributed to an overall $25,000 fundraising mission of Brown Bag For A Cure® for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
